THE SEED CORPS, A New World Vision

100% of your purchase or donation, after expenses will directly go towards helping feed the Tsunami Orphans and the millions of displaced residents throughout the ravaged regions who have lost family members, their homes, livelihoods and are now struggling to not to lose hope. Food supplies for survivors include orphans, they are arriving as a short term solution, the agricultural capability of the coastal regions has been devastated. Your donation will go towards building orphanages and the agricultural food supply to teach people how to feed themselves again.

The Seed Corps was incorporated in 1982 as a non-profit corporation for a challenge to a few to provide self-help education to many. Its objective was to fulfill the theme that 'If you teach a man to grow a garden you feed him for the rest of his life.

Eddie Albert, star of the screen and stage, and Ian T. Allison, after a life of corporate management, merged their efforts to start The Seed Corps in 1982 with serious objectives of bringing seeds and gardening education to all parts of the world.

We have helped feed hundreds of millions of people in over 100 countries during the past 22 years, we now ask for your help for the 'Eddie's Tsunami Feed The hungry fund'. Our experience has taught us 'if you teach a person to grow a garden you feed them for the rest of their life'. Your donation will help us in providing housing and gardens to feed orphans.

Both Eddie Albert and I appreciate your support for this good cause.

We are able to fund the charitable efforts of The Seed Corps from our website sales of products.

Two Good Friends

Eddie Albert and Ian Allison are also both decorated World War II Combat Veterans. Eddie was in the Navy and first experienced combat saving wounded Marines under fire on the beaches of Bloody Tarawa during Thanksgiving of 1943.

Ian was in the Merchant Marines delivering war material to combat zones around the world. Note: The Merchant Mariners suffered the highest casualty rate of all the Armed Forces, even higher percentage wise than the Marine Corps. Over 800 U.S Merchant ships were sunk by ships, planes, mines and submarines.

Over the years, both Eddie and Ian have long supported veterans causes and a result was the formulation of American Legacy Corps, a non profit dedicated to helping and supporting America's proudest legacy. We are referring to the men and women that defend our nation during war and peace.

Ian Allison had retired from the business world after building many enterprises resulting in a Fortune 300 company. With Eddie's well recognized charismatic nature and Ian's business acumen they created a very efficient and successful non profit corporation ( http://www.Seedcorps.com ). Since 1983 The Seed Corps has sent millions of packages of vegetable seed to over 50 countries worldwide, effectively helping to feed hundreds of millions of hungry people. Truly An effort by a few to help many!

These humanitarian efforts are possible because The Seed Corps provides a charitable service as a vegetable seed supplier to established international charitable organizations around the globe. These organizations have a local presence and implement the on-site gardening and farming programs developed by The Seed Corps. These programs have also been implemented via intermediaries throughout much of the United States of America.

We Deliver Free Seeds to the World
THE SEED CORPS objective is to get people, young and old alike, to become interested in growing things. Soon that interest can be directed to growing fresh and nutritious food.

We appreciate the efforts in the past years of our Seed Corps volunteers for aiding in the distribution of hundreds of thousands of free vegetable seed packages to every state in the Union. In addition, millions of packages of vegetable seeds have been sent to many foreign countries overseas where they have helped hundreds of millions of people to provide nourishing food for themselves.

Kids love pumpkins and the ease of growing them encourages this younger group to take up gardening. We specially pack pumpkin and tomato seeds with full instructions to help the younger generation. Our seeds are generally non-hybrid varieties to encourage the production of seeds by the recipients.
